Joel S. Jackson has established a reputation in the New River Valley region as a tough and aggressive attorney for those accused of violating the law. He represents clients in General District and Circuits in Southwest Virginia.

Rachel W. Shrader
Rachel W. Shrader is an attorney in Blacksburg, Virginia and has been with The Law Office of Joel Jackson since May of 2015. She represents individuals who have been charged with serious criminal and traffic offenses.
Rachel has appeared on behalf of clients in courtrooms throughout Southwest Virginia, including Radford, Salem, Bland, Carroll, Giles, Montgomery, Pulaski County, Roanoke County, Smyth, and Wythe County.
In addition to her criminal litigation practice, Rachel also assists clients with family law matters, including custody, adoption, and child support issues.
Rachel graduated from Blacksburg High School and received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech. She attended the University of South Carolina School of Law where she received her Juris doctorate. Her studies included a concentration in children’s law.
